In the middle of Birch Farm, and surrounded by our ornamental and productive gardens and orchards, The Potting Shed is a very special space for events, private dining and intimate wedding receptions.

The rustic yet beautiful space seats 18 guests and is decorated throughout the year with seasonal plants and flowers, bringing the rolling countryside views from the outside in.

Step out onto the courtyard

Large barn doors open onto a cobbled courtyard which is perfect for drinks in summertime or warming aperitifs around the fire pit in winter.

The location is delightfully private.

Menus in tune with our natural environment

Our Head Chef Toby Neal (pictured) and team use ingredients foraged from the coastline, along with ingredients grown on Birch Farm to create bespoke menus to suit your occasion. Toby loves to create dishes that capture the micro season, which fits beautifully with a dining experience in this natural location.
